This is a scholarship sponsored by the National Student Loan Program and offers multiple $500 academic awards Any student with any academic background can apply and be eligible. You also have to complete some courses for financial literacy in order to qualify.
Claes Nobel Academic Scholarship
The Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships gives away awards of $5,000 through the National Society of High School Scholars. The awards are only available to high school students who show achievement in academics, as well as leadership and community service. Applicants also may earn another award called the National Scholar Award, another financial aid opportunity through National Society of High School Scholars in the amount of $1,000.
Coca-Cola Scholars Program
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation gives away 50 academic awards of $20,000 to high school seniors. These scholarships are based on achievements and are highly competitive. Semifinalists are required to submit essays, letters of recommendation and transcripts. Finalists also have to do an interview. In addition to the main awards, there are 200 other scholarships for other applicants in the amount of $10,000.
AFCEA Distance Learning Scholarships
These are $2,000 financial awards from the AFCEA Educational Foundation. You must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree program online or through distance learning. Basically, this is a scholarship specifically for online education. To apply, you also must have completed at least one year of coursework in a program at a major four-year university.
Students showing remarkable talents can also get a grant for a private school, including one for younger students in middle school or high school.
